Dogs already out in the front yard, any little sh!its wanna tackle with her then they will get cold water dumped on them

every day of the year parents tell their kids

dont take anything from strangers
dont speak to strangers
dont go to strangers houses

then on that one day of the year you not only allow them to take candy off strangers but send them on silver platters to knock on the doors of potential pedophiles

no wonder poor kids get confused

I agree with ozzie_oi. Just had some kids rock up without any parental supervision. Now have a sign on the closed gate. "trick or treaters, bugga off"

Though last year I did close the gates and people opened them to walk to the front door banging away for a trick or treat. I think it got to the point I couldn't be bothered getting up to answer the door, I just yelled at them to bugga off.

i dont mind if other cultures want to celebrate their holidays however they should just do it as a group among themselves

my main objection to halloween is allowing children to approach strangers

im going to post an 'out there' scenerio

you take little betty trick or treating and one of the houses she goes to belongs to a pedophile, several days later little betty is at the shops out of your site briefly and this pedophile goes up to her and says they have more lollies for her, well little betty thinks its ok to go with this man after all mummy took her to his house for lollies once before didnt she

kids gone and if shes 'lucky' he will kill her when hes finished with her

I would be just as concerned about someone puting that crystal meth in a lollie.

closing the gate worked this year.
