* my family
* my friends
* waking up each morning to watch the sunrise
* the smile and wagging tail of a faithful friend
* dining out with good friends
* my somewhat good health
* the fact that I am an Aussie and, unfortunately, other people are not
* that I have had exhilirating experiences that others read about
* that with my own hands, and the grace of God, I grow and eat my own vegies in a tiny little garden (I live in a unit with a little yard)
* home brew
* watching a beautiful sunset in the evening with a glass of home brew

grego60, the first 7 statements I'm in agreeance with you, except the wagging tails are of my 3 cats, I've had a lot of different experiances in my life, for which I am thankful for, not all exhillarating though
I don't grow my own vegies now, I used to years ago,
Mr kitty brews his own beer, I don't drink, and unfortunatgely I don't catch must of the sunset, unles I walk up the driveway to the front of the house, and then it is behind other buildings.

That I can still breath.

That I have two beautiful healthy children.

That I am loved by the man that I love.

That I know the difference between what is right and what is wrong.

That I have food, shelter, water and education.

Thats Halloween is not a big deal here.......So I can dress the kids up and make them happy giving out their lollies....

And I don't have to buy 100 presents or visit 10 houses in one day!!!

I am thankful for the lemon tree which has nice flowers on it...cost a fortune buying lemons for daughters honey and lemon drink.

And of course the baby trees are growing nicely. Not quite big enough to plant and I have no idea what they are but meh.

I am also thankful for all the amusing antics provided to me over the past three years its going to make a great book.

I am thankful for so many things, I don't know where to start

but good health, friends and having a sense of what matters and what doesn't, are right up there, for me.

I'll be back later when I've had more time to think of a list
