i live near a dairy and every so often i get stuck in traffic when the cows have to cross the road to either get to the field or get milked in the dairy. it's so cute to see them there, stopping in the middle of the road looking at you with their big eyes. ah, life in the country, what can i say.

we are lucky that we don't get that lovely aroma except if we are near the sale yards and standing down wind. we just get the sound effects of sheep cows and chickens. i was worried one time that a cow was thinking that my car was a bank in order to make a deposit. thankfully it didn't. mind you i did kill a magpie with my car the other day - my first one. that was one interesting hood ornament for a couple of minutes before it fell off.
