is anyone looking forward to the start of this. i'm real 50/50 about it. while i enjoy having a bit of extra daylight, i just hate having to adjust my clocks and for my body to get use to the new time.

I'm about the same josie7, it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. But when I lived in Qld Joh Blelke Peterson was opposed to daylight savings coz it faded the curtains and confused the cows.

I Hate it with a passion All that extra hot sun in the afternoon, and now it is for 6 MONTHS of the year here. I reckpn it would be better in the winter months, to have that extra hour of daylight in the afternoons, especially for those people who work at least it wouldn't be quite so dark so early as they are going home. The short aternoons in winter makes the nights seem so long

oh, ours hasn't been changed either, and my mobile is so hard to change, so it is still on daylight saving time since last season

I went to update the time on my mobile and found the auto update provented me from doing so.
I changed it to "confirm first" and was able to update the time.

A few minutes later the auto update asked me if I wanted to change to daylight savings.

Some people get up early and prefer their daylight at the normal time.

There is no "extra" hour of daylight, you get the same as before daylight saving.
