Politicians, who needs them?

I recently contacted my federal member of parliament in regard to a federal issue and he told me it was nothing to do with him. So being the persistant li'l bugger that I am, I contacted my local member of state government and he told me to contact my federal member. So I got back to my federal member and told him to earn his bloody money and he promptly hung up. We vote for these SOB's but once elected they just want to sit on their fat arses and watch the money roll in. To quote a famous rabbit, 'this means war'. I have no intention of letting these lazy bastards off so easy and shall fight the good fight until its rightful conclusion.

Has anybody else had a similar experience with our voices of democracy?
