Topic: Wondering ?
Isnt it interesting that while the pope was here the weather was good and people behaved.
Nothing more than a coincidence that the weather was good.
I highly doubt everyone behaved, more likely the media was not allowed to report any bad behaviour.

And then the media doesn't always report bad behaviour. How many people know that Bankstown Train Station was held up a few weeks ago. The train at the station was held up as well. The riot squad were called to sort things out. One would think given the riot squad was called there would have been some coverage but no.
Thats another thing the trains went really well during that week hey. What people don't know is that the trainee train drivers were forced to work on the platforms to make up the numbers required to fill all shifts.
Funny thing that. There was an incident at Lidcombe Station where on of these trainees gave right of way to a train. Must have broken so many regulations it was incredible. There was a mad scramble by the Ops guys down to the platform to 'fix' things. The trainee driver was relinquished of his duty. An investigation subsequently found that even though the majority of these trainees were station staff, they no longer had the clearance to give right of way to trains. Typical of cityrail though.
Brings to mind the expression.
There is the right way, there is the wrong way and then there is the cityrail way.
I think there were instances of misbehaviour it just wasn't reported.

No, That young guy from some country. He come over here for World Youth Day.
He was attacked outside a pub by a group of guys.
He was taken to hosp and he looked a mess. Poor guy.
It happened on some swimmers street, That older lady???
She went to the hosp and Appoligised that it happened on her street. ( I thought that was a weird thing to say)
Then she appoligised that it happened in our country.
He was given rosary beads blessed by the pope.
