Sick kitty

My lovely white kitty, Nicky, isn't well, We took her to the vet this morning, as she sounded quite hoarse. She has an infection for which we have been given anti biotics to give her. Well, we also found out she has a heart problem, it's beating too fast and she has a murmer as well. She also has some skin cancers. We don't know yet what can done for her bcause of her age. She is 13 and a half

kittycats sorry to here about poor Nicky,hope the antibiotics help her,I hate it when any of our cats get sick.

everyone for you concern over Nicky, We just gave her a dose of liquid anti biotics, and I got a bit of a scratch while trying to hold her, She seems a little better tonight, so by tomorow she should be doing ok, I hope

Hi everyone, she is improving thankfully, she is eating better, but doesn't like her medicine. I'm wearing a 2 inch scratch from this mornings episode. She is snoring away at the moment

have you tried mixing it with his food? or does that put him off his food?

Please give her a good cuddle and scratch around the ears for me please. No doubt she will enjoy taking over you lap, chair, bed etc. Er sorry that should read she might allow you to use her furniture. Take care from Joise7.

Cats are such difficult little people to administer medicine. Perservere and all will be well.

mallee, she's not eating too well at the moment, so putting it in her food wouldn't do the trick.

Rhope, they can be, our big male cat is ok with tablets, don't know how he would be with the liquid squirted into the side of his mouth though
