Good Morning everyone.

Beautiful sunny day here in Swan Hill. Been getting down to 2-3C the last few mornings. I don't think we have had any frost this year yet, but I am sure it won't be far away.

What sort of farm do you run there FB?

Is it dairy cows or beef?

What other animals do you have on your farm?

malleeman,I have a beef farm, the sheep are employed as lawn mowers to keep the grass down around the sheds and house just incase of bush fires,I used to have lots of water but the spring has nearly dried up,so no green grass in summer anymore around the house,I have 6 riding horses,2 mintnre ponies, lots of chooks and 4 cats.

kittycats I have never been to a Baby Shower do you have that before the baby or after the baby arives.Housework,Saturday is housework day for me Elf or no Elf.

Hi Farmer, a Baby Shower is held before the bub arrives. Usually a girlfriend or sister organises it for the expectant Mum. Todays was for my girlfriends' twin daughter who is due next month. We had a lovely time, catching up with people we hadn't seen for some time

i went to a babyshower once and had no idea what to buy so i gave the expectant mum a card with $50 in it so she could get whatever she needed. it didnt go down too well, 2 people told me that i should have asked her what she needed rather than me being lazy and giving cash. i wasnt being lazy, i was being considerate. i havent been invited to another one

kirrilly I don't think that was lazy,it is better than giving her something she did not really want.

thats what i thought too. i could have got her a dozen cloth nappies to go with the other two dozen that she got that afternoon which ended up going to waste as after a few days of cloth nappies, the new mother switched to disposables

farmer do you have more pictures of your farm?

:Goodnight Farmer, if you're still there sleep: catch you tomorrow if you don;t sleep in

Kirrilly, I would have thought that a card with $50 wuld have been greatly accepted. I gave my girlfiiends daughter a photoframe, that holds about 70 photos, that change like a slide show. It was different from all the other things she got, like clothes, and toys etc, so she will be able to see the pics all the time as it's electric

Hope you all have a great day,the fog is so thick I walked straight passed the sheep,I thought they had escaped from their paddock, this is not going to clear till midday.

The fog you are describing is so weird. I watched my Nephew play soccer in Vic and you could only see part of the soccer field the fog was so thick. Don't know how the kids played not been able to see the other end of the field.
