My nephew is 3 1/2 years and he is at the stage where, he will only give kisses and hugs on his terms (ie. not now, later, or only on the cheek, or give ryland (his brother) kisses and hugs first).

Oh and everything is his, he tells me constantly that its his toys or his dinner or his clothes or his mummy and daddy... I just tell him the ice cream and lollies in the fridge are mine and then he changes his tune after that...

My terrible two is awesome!!!

Every time he plays up (only when his tired), I take him into his room and tell him, "stop been naughty/crying or your Thomas will go into the bin."

Is that cool or cruel?

Anyway, he sold his dummy at the toystore to get that Thomas train so it means more to him then anything. He sleeps with it, sometimes baths with it and it sits on the table to watch him eat. So for him to lose that will turn him into a "tiny emo"!

That's why it's so easy to make him behave and we have never smacked our children once, which is also cool.

Actually, he's very normal. Add music, singing and dancing and it is gauranteed to attract a toddlers attention. So how do you feel about the Wiggles?

Hi there, I have a 4 yr old, so have been there, and i think am still there in a way. Although now we get i wanted to play with that, when his 15mth old brother picks up a toy. or i don't want to feed my self, ever since his brother started eating. The issue on kids being so undecided will get better as your child gets older and they will stick to someting for a little longer, but with age you also get a whole set of other issues. Keep smiling it will get better!!!

I'm well pat the 2 yr old stage as my son is now 9, but at times I wonder about that. I'm just waiting for the teenage years to hit, Now that will be loads of fun! Mind you I wouldn't trade anything.
